The error that may end the Fox News Channels dominance

 

Thursday morning started with the death of every 17-24 year old from the 70’s Farrah Fawcett. A beautiful sexy woman who captivated the desires of boy’s everywhere (me included). A wonderful tribute to her, but the real news dominated the day. Fast forward 6 hours when we first heard that Michael Jackson had collapsed. What followed after Glenn Beck will have repercussions for a long time (that will be 5 days). Why so short? Two words Keith Oberman. He has as many followers on MSNBC as I do on Twitter or this blog (lol). CNN won’t last long because all they have is Lou Dobbs. ABC, CBS, and NBC well need I say more. What will hurt Fox News is in viewership to National Geographic Channel (NatGeo) or maybe the Animal Planet when it covers wild animals the world over.

Seriously though, they must pay some sort of penalty for pushing serious news off the channel not shortened or blocked for an hour, but off for eight hours. I received an email from the website “Move America Forward” who tracks the lives of soldiers who are fighting for Sheppard Smith’s right to be stupid for a day. In the fifth paragraph of the article noticed the coverage and made a simple request to honor our troops as much as we did Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson. Those men and women should be the ones we set aside a huge block of time to honor. When was the last time we put them in every hour block of news? A long, long time.

The huge majority of us have earned the right to be treated with respect, and when you email the show to give your opinion about a subject Sheppard Smith should not tell you to “Shut up” as he did a few months ago to an emailer, or Bill O’Reilly telling emailers to “wise up” when you write in as he asks you to. We put up with it because they overall give us the news we need to make decisions about who represents us in Washington D.C. I think that deference might be over. If that is the case what will become of the only channel that “reported and let us decide.” We cannot stop supporting FNC, but some sort of penalty needs to be imposed to remind them that we are the ones to whom they report. Like politicians who forget to whom they report so to is it with the media in general and FNC in particular.

A Different Memorial Day Message

"...But in a larger sense, we cannot dedicate, we cannot consecrate, we cannot hallow this ground." "...It is for us, the living, rather, to be dedicated, here, to the unfinished work that they have thus far so nobly carried on." ".. that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion;" "...that the nation shall, under God, have a new birth of freedom, and that government of the people, by the people, and for the people shall not perish from the earth." A speech 145 1/2 years ago is still relevant today. I truly believe this country is on the precipice of a direction that may end the country Lincoln tried to save all those years ago. I soooo hope I am wrong. On this Memorial Day think about those who died for a different country. A country that has gone from self-relience to a country full of children looking for momma government to provide for them. How do we honor, how do we dedicate ourselfs to the unfinished work that those who gave the full measure of devotion? The answer is simple. Fight for the values those at the Gettysburg and Arlington Cemetary's died to save. A nation; a complete nation that shall under God give a new birth of freedom to a country and government OF the PEOPLE, BY the PEOPLE, and FOR the PEOPLE will not perish. The Constitution, Declaration of Independence, and the Gettysburg Address are the three documents that we should use as rallying cries to take back our government. The tea parties are or should be the catylst to a larger new revolution (civil) to demand our representatives live up to the oath they take to perserve, protect, and defend the document that outlines the role for them. The role of our Federal Government is to ESTABLISH Justice, PROVIDE for the common defence and to SECURE the plessings of liberty. The role of Promoting the general welfare, ensure domestic tranquility is verbal not actionable. The monetary role of our Government is to the Defence of us (military) and Justice (Justice office and Law Enforcement (FBI DEA ATF) all kinds of alphabet leagal agencies. The rest are left to the states to provide and for the President to use the "Bully Pulpit" to PROMOTE.
 
The issues above is what Memorial Day honors. We honor those who not only gave the full measure of devotion but for the ideals of a free people to live free from a tyrannical government that tries to tell us what we can and cannot drink, smoke, (minus pot) drive, eat, and worship. Yes we are being told to worship in the basement because others will be offended or somehow the government is involved. I do not believe those who died for a holiday or did they die for Christmas celebration; did they die for a bunny or for the rememberence of the day Jesus rose to sit at the right hand of God? TAKE BACK AMERICA. What day is more fitting to reclaim the country of our fore-fathers or do sit back and let President Obama remake the country to a governmental central society. The society of the Soviet Union, Cuba, Zimbabwe, or stay with the society that gave us Thomas Edison, Alexander Graham Bell and Henry Ford.
 
It is time for all of you Independence to pick a lane. Pick lower taxes or higher taxes. Pick bigger Government or smaller Government. Pick pro-choice or pro-life. Pick an offensive war on terror or the one pre 9/11. PICK A LANE and GROW UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why what the democrates are doing is not the same

 

The stimulus bill that just passed congress is nothing like what George Bush tried to do and failed (by listening to a man who had wall streets interests in mind not the president he was sworn to serve). Mr. Paulson was right when he argued that we must secure the financial system. The saving of CitiGroup, Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase, Wachovia and et al was to stop any run on the banking system which also included local banks, savings and credit unions. The execution of the rescue left a lot to be desired (the understatement of the millennium) when almost a trillion dollars was asked for and given and then stolen. YES STOLEN. The people who helped bring about the end of true capitalism was given money and told I don’t care what you do with it. So Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sacks, Bear Sterns gave themselves a much needed rest in Las Vegas to unwind from loosing, or squandered, or stole (you pick the adjective). It must have been exhausting bankrupting their companies and paying them with your money. I beg you to tell your friends who support this destruction of sanity that President Bush didn’t start the move to socialism. He tried to save you. He tried to protect your country. Why do I say this? I will tell you.

When the subprime mortgage meltdown started and banks with CDO (Collateralized Debt Obligations) MBS (Mortgage Backed Securities) and a half dozen other alphabet securities lost all of their value (partial due to an accounting rule). Can you imagine 25 trillion dollars in total security obligations and debt was caused by an accounting rule? It is true. The rule is called mark-to market. It is an accounting rule that tells holders of asset backed securities that it is better to price at what the current market value is not what you bought it at (FAS 157). The rule, in a nut shell, tells holders of these securities can inflate the value when the price goes up (creating a better balance sheet then what is true) and when the value goes down, maybe a year or six months later, you now have to scramble to find cash to replace the lost value of the asset. If you are leveraged on these assets 60:1 that is nearly (is) impossible (the people who could give you the money doesn’t believe you balance sheet anymore). The point I am making is that if the accounting rule was historical costs (what you bought it at) and since most of the assets are backed by houses, apartment complexes, and even office buildings that are paying their mortgages (95%) and income is coming in the historical costs was adequate. The second point is that most of these assets were booked for long term investments not available for sale (even if they were then changing them to held-to-maturity for the duration of the crisis) and then when there is a market for them petitioning the SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) to sell them. A better way to fix the financial system and the only money mentioned was the amount in total nationwide investment debt. The uptick rule is another matter it just means that a short sale (betting a stock will go lower) can only be instigated after the stock is bid higher.

Enter President Bush who desperately wanted to stop the collapse so he allowed himself to be snookered by Paulson, Bernake, and Geitner to do this 750bn dollar boondoggle. What he wanted to do was right. He wanted to protect you deposits. The banks I mentioned earlier carry about 40% of the US populations deposits. I just took BofA, Wells Fargo, and Citibank to highlight the difference in cash the banks have on hand to pay checks, close accounts and meet ongoing customer’s payrolls. The amounts are staggering to the untrained eye more in a minute).

The amount of deposits (book value not actual amounts in the bank) for three of the major banks in this country is almost two trillion dollars. The amounts the banks have to meet day to day operations is less that one hundred billion dollars. The information I just gave you the President had the same information on the other 4,997 commercial and savings banks, and credit unions maybe another 10 trillion dollars of deposits with less than 1 trillion dollars in cash on hand. The FDIC could not print or back even ? of that amount. That boys and girls would be a depression. What would you do? President Bush was not is not and will never be a socialist not even close. The only thing President Bush was was naive to trust Hank Paulson and Ben Bernake. I don’t care how many books the Fed Chairman read. Many people argue that maybe about 300 billion would be needed to back stop some of the assets till a buyer could be found (a year maybe two) for them. How is that idea socialism. I think alot of Sean, Rush, and Glenn, but this time I believe they are wrong about this.

Congratulations Michael Steele

 

I want to use this time on this blog to congratulate Michael Steele on his election to be Chairman of the Republican National Committee. I was an early supporter of his for a lot of reasons mainly because the Republican Party was asleep at the switch. I watch a lot of news (Fox News mostly) and I never saw Mr. Duncan (I only recently found out who was Chairman of the RNC) on any news program not even Meet the Press. Michael Steele was always on news programs putting forth the republican message.

The Chairman has a few real issues he needs to stick to repeatedly for the next two years. Ronald Reagan, the father of the conservative movement, ran on and governed on small but important principles. Newt Gingrich stuck to a few principles, the contract with America notwithstanding, had in it a limited number of policies. The Contract may have had a lot of numbers, but the principles were small; limit the size of government (Ronald Reagan), make the government work better, and make the Congress live under the same rules and laws that they impose on to us. Ronald Reagan governed on the reduction of taxes for people and business (increased revenue to the government), rebuild the military to a size big enough to defeat the Soviet Union (Berlin Wall fell in 1989), and reinvigorate the American experience. Former President Reagan loved this country and knew the spirit of America was alive in all of us. He believed that the ROLE of Government was to get roadblocks out of our way so the entrepreneurial spirit can work. These are the topics I believe Mr. Steele needs to stick to.

I am here to do my part in my small neck of the woods. In my community we have lost all sense of what is right and proper. I will be more active in pushing the things that I believe is at the heart of our party and what makes a civilized society. I will try to take Mike Huckabee started with the topic of life. The institution of abortion and euthanasia must stop (more on that later). The way to start is to insinuate myself into local republican party politics, support candidates for school boards, and end the stranglehold that the democrats have on the office of  mayor. Start a tv station that will rival RNN.

As I stated in the beginning, I am here for Chairman Steele. I can’t wait for the liberals to call the election of Mr. Steele as a cynical attempt to attract the African-Americans away from the Democratic Party. The same way they tried to derail Sarah Palin’s nomination as Vice-Presidential candidate. I will be waiting with bated breath.

A New Begining for 2009

   

I have been away for a while, partly because of the holidays and partly because I didn’t want to come across as whining or infantile. I did not vote for Mr. Obama. My candidate was Mike Huckabee or Fred Thompson. I think Mayor Giuliani would have made a great Attorney General or Secretary of Homeland Security (If we have to have the stupid agency). John McCain came out the winner of our primary (some day I will go into that process), because the conservative movement fractured into 10 different factions. People in our caucus found fault with all of the nominees. John McCain has an impressive background and could have made a great Secretary of State or Defense. He is a war hero a true conservative on some very key issues like abortion, the war, and traditional marriage. He lost because he did three things wrong and only one thing right. He didn’t come up with a clear conservative message to the economic crisis, he touted “working across the isle (First Amendment, federal judges to the Appeals Bench), and didn’t bring up Wright, Ayres, and Rezko. The one thing he did right was pick Sarah Palin as his Vice-President nominee.

The issues of Wright and Ayres, while important, were secondary to the issues this country was facing. The economy and two wars and the looming issue of Vladimir Putin invading the independent Georgian state. If you understand the economy more than just what you are told on the Fox Business Channel the problem of banks and financial companies like Merrill Lynch, Bear Sterns, or even AIG could have been meliorated with just a few accounting rules and loan guarantees to back stop the difference would have stabilized the credit markets. The looming recession is a different mess altogether. The current President will take this country in a totally different direction and blame the former President. He will say “you can’t blame me” “I am doing what President Bush did.” The argument is both specious and incorrect. President Bush did the right thing the wrong way. The proverbial right church wrong pew aspect of the problem will be misinterpreted for a long time. Sean Hannity, in interviewing Rush Limbaugh, put a handle on this issue when talking about FDR and his legacy. It is my contention that FDR was one of the worst Presidents of the 20th century.

I, as a banker, can tell you that while it is true that ACORN and other surrogates intimidated some banks to make these criminal loans. Loans, that financially devastated the poor for 10 years and maybe longer. The other banks didn’t care one way or the other. The American Bankers Association lobbied congress (Republican congress) to repeal Glass/Steagal. Glass/Steagal came out of the depression. Congress with the help of President Clinton reassured in the old way of banking (supposedly under the guise of competing with Europe) gave bankers the go-ahead to turn the banking system into a used car lot type of business. From that date if you wanted to work in an bank all you needed was proof that you can sell something. If you can convince the HR person you could make good money in commissions for selling loans or savings accounts. A bank isn’t in business to provide commissions to its employees like Raymond James or First Investors Company. A bank is in business to promote commerce in their communities. A Commercial Banks prime mission is to help companies carry on trade and commerce. If the employees want a checking account at the same bank then “all the better”, but the bank caters to the business. How do I know I am right? Look at the mess we are in today with the repeal of Glass/Steagal.

In the next 1,458 days Mr. Obama will be the President. It should be very easy to predict how he will govern. In the first 3 days the President has reversed everything that kept America safe for 2,688 days (from September 11, 2001 to January 20, 2009). It is irrelevant weather he will do it in 1 year or 4 years. The point is that he did it publicly. President Bush on many occasions said he wish he could close Gitmo. The difference was that Bush did it quietly so our enemy was kept guessing. As of this writing, the President will overturn Reagan’s, Bush 41, and Bush 43, ban on NGO’s (Non-Governmental Organizations) from giving advice about abortion in foreign countries. Governing from the middle? I don’t think so. It is unclear at this early date, but the whole Gays in the military will come up again. The worst of all, in my humble opinion, is the issue of gay marriage. California may set the stage for Obama to put this issue forward claiming that California did it and every marriage didn’t collapse. I think it was Bill O’Reilly or Dick Morris on The O’Reilly Factor that argued that if Prop 8 is overturned again by the Court could make most religious services or openly praising God in public could cause criminal prosecution for hate speech. It is a idea that I didn’t think of. Court hearings on the bible and the Oath swearing to God be taken out of the Presidential Oath of Office.

What did Betty Davis say in “All About Eve”; “Fasten your seatbelt it is going to be a bumpy night.” In the coming weeks and months I will pick a topic on the economy, banking, pop culture (music, movies) the state of our youth (utes to Vinnie La Guardia Gambini), and finally I will comment on the Culture Warriors segments on O’Reilly’s show.

Gay Marriage

Michael Medved's column starts a need discussion of our history and culture that is long overdue. 

1) The civil rights argument, as Michael points out, is a bad and insulting one. Michael is right in that you can not hide your skin color, but you can hide your sexual orientation.  I will take his word for the economic equality with heterosexuals plus no one would deny a homosexual a job, or a place to live. Marriage is and always was a union of a Man and a Woman for the purpose of procreation and stability in a society. If homosexual’s want some form of union, since it is both a violation of the bible and of biology, then they can form their own cultural symbols. The act as I mentioned before violates biology if nothing else.

2) The other argument they use is children. One argument, that is really offensive, is that some women in their marriage cannot conceive children so they go to a fertility clinic. The idea that because of a sickness that causes women to become infertile or a biological anomaly they are born with masks a number of responses. A) the fact that 1 in maybe a million women become infertile and need intervention through science is that an anomaly. Two men or two women (100%) can not under any circumstance conceive a child together. B) Since the state issues certificates of marriage and it is not expressly worded in the Constitution it is a privilege not a right. When the state can bare certain people from getting a marriage license then it is not a violation of the Constitution’s equal protection clause. If it were true then multiple marriages (usually more than one woman), brother and sister, adult and child (+18 to -16) could argue the same equal protection since the violation of more than one wife is a violation of the first amendment on religious grounds.

A behavior that is aberrant (out of the norm) on its face is one reason why most people of color (more religious then whites) are opposed to gay marriage. The gay lobby’s argument about our marriages ending in divorce over 50% is a good argument, but the easy answer is that A) two wrongs do not make a right, and B) The fact that we as a society have gotten away from things like honor, faith, respect, and into instant gratification has combined with secular marriage counselors (that fail 90% of the time) instead of going to a priest, rabbi, imam, or pastor to help the two remember why they got married in the first place and to listen and not yell. We can fix our marriage issues with a little more listening to people like Pastor Rick Warren, or Joel Osteen. These two men are the real thing. I do not go to church, unfortunately, mostly because I do not feel my Methodist church does not preach what I believe is important, and I am not a catholic mostly because I do not like kneeling and standing every five minutes.

The most fascinating thing about this argument is when we lost in the court system allowing judges to decide what the majority wants did not cause us to protest in the streets, attack old ladies in the street and cause riots. When Christians loose an argument we go back and try to make our argument stronger like civilized people are supposed to do. When the gay lobby looses an argument they riot in the streets attack old ladies carrying a cross and call people vicious names. My mother use to tell me just because you are louder or stronger does not make you right. We are in the right biblically and biologically so we go about the business of changing or making logical argument that a majority agrees with hence the passage of Prop 8. When immoral or ignorant people loose an argument they become violent because they no they are wrong and have no way of expressing themselves logically, cogently, and peacefully.

I think that the situation in Washington State and California (ironically) will be the seat of power for the Christian community rising up and start defending Jesus Christ and the Christian, Jewish, and Muslim faiths will join together to stop the secularist and bring back the ideals that made us a great country. In a civilized society certain acts are wrong and you are asked not told to stop that behavior. In a secular world you are told what to do in the eyes of the anarchist view. In a secular world you are told what you can and can not say. In a secular world you are told who you can talk about (smokers mostly). Everyone else is a protected class (black, homosexual, obese, and drug addicted) and they get preferential treatment and if you are male, white, and rich you get to be mocked, ridiculed, and made to be the bad person. If you are competitive in sports or the business community you are looked down upon as well.

All of these issues are coming to a head. The election of Barack Obama might wind up being a blessing for the Christian or Religious community. The fight for our souls and for a civilized way of life could start as soon as Jan. 21st 2009. Bring your shield of righteousness and spear of goodness to battle the army of anarchy and barbarity. We may just save ourselves from the fate of Rome and of Sodom and Gomorrah. Israelites were kicked out of Jerusalem twice; once be the Assyrians, and once by the Babylonians. Charles Manson claimed he had Sharon Tate and the LaBianca’s murdered to start a race war, but he failed. I wonder if one of Osama Bin Laden’s aim was to start a religious war between Christians and the Secularist as a secondary front so we would take our eye off of him and into ourselves. Just thinking out loud; no need to read anything into my rant.

Wal-Mart and Christmas

I find it interesting and a little disturbing to hear that on the first day of Christmas shopping (four hours after we give thanks for what we have) a day that we set aside to honor the baby Jesus a bunch of people trample and leave a man dying to buy the lasted trinket. Have we lost all sense of ourselves and are we no longer a civilized society? Don't you just love the excuses? It was a herd mentality, or what where the people suppose to do get trampled themselves? Why do we instictively try to find excuses?
 
Should Wal-Mart have put up barriers or hired security? Probably! The question is forseeability. Wal-Mart does have a duty to protect its employees. The problem I have is that if it hadn't happened anywhere else or in the past how do you get to forseeability? The media has been talking about "Black Friday" since the beginning of November. No one ever talked about or asked the question; will the bargin hunters knock down each other to get to the plasma TV? NO!! How many people have died waiting outside a ticket master waiting for Brittney Spears' concert tickets or a movie theatre waiting for tickets to the latest Brad Pitt movie? None!! I can tell you that more people have been waiting for concert tickets to the favorite artist than waited outside the Wal-Mart store on Nov 28th. What about the thousands of people waiting to audition for American Idol? No one pushed another down and trampled them in order to be the first to sign up for the show.  
 
I wonder if The View or Keith Oberman or Rachel Maddow will book Pastor Rick Warren on their show to promote his book "The Purpose of Christmas" where he talks about Jesus and why he was born. He was born to be our savior. I truely believe we need his saving grace now more than ever. "An angel appeared and said "fear not; for, behold I bring you good tidings of great joy" (Luke 2:10). "For unto you is born this day...a savior who is Christ the lord" (Luke 2:11). "Glory to God...peace on earth good will toward men" (Luke 2:14). Can you imagine anyone saying things like that on MSNBC?
 
I truely believe that we need to come to grips with the kind of country we want to be and leave to our children. I have no children, but you know what I mean. Why is it backward thinking to want to live in a country where a handshake is a binding agreement. Why do we find it necessary to put onto our children the thought processes of adults. If you argue that an eight year old boy should be treated like you and I why can't I argue that if an eight year old boy can be tried as an adult then why do we spend so much energy making sure that Phillip Morris cigarette company not advertise to that same eight year old. Why is it not justified to argue that an eight or fifteen year old girl should not have to get her mothers permission to get pierced ears or a tattoo. I am told that is different and then go into the same arguement I make about criminal behavior. The growth of the mind and body or the limitations thereof (Sorry pet peeve). Why is it mean to not allow a woman the right to terminate a pregnancy even when she was stupid one night? My answer is why do you want to punish the innocent baby? Is killing an unborn baby, fetus, peanut, just a bunch of molecules (or what ever you want to call it) the acts of a civilized society? My favorite subject is the starving of a live women. The caring people claim that she won't feel a thing because endorphins will create a peaceful end. Has anyone remembered the plane load of crash survivors in the Andes eating each other because they were starving to death. If starving someone is so peaceful then how do you explain that. What about the children in Ethiopia or other African countries with young children crying due to the lack of food and the extended bellies?
 
See when you peel away the arguments from the left even an alcholic like me (just like Glenn Beck) can refute them. The longer we go and the more we allow the athiest's and the secularist the farther down the road we will go toward our own distruction not unlike Rome, or the Israelites constantly being driven out of Israel for their lack of honor to God. If we are not careful Planned Parenthood will replace parents and the ACLU will replace marrigae to a dating ritual like going to the movies was in the 50's. From here on children will be produced in a test tube and Nancy Pelosi will raise them to worship her and Barak Obama. The new king of America. Hitler was able to take a pro democratic group of people who were in extreme financial distress and convinced them that an unknown politician should lead them out of that distress. Before anyone goes off half cocked I am not calling the president-elect Hilter. I am saying that the similarities or scary. We are in a financial crisis and an unknown has been elected to a people who love democracy. If the "Fairness Doctrine" is imposed watch out. If Fox News is made to go out of business then watch out. That is all I am saying. Obama is NOT Hitler. Obama is a shrewed politician with some very undemocratic ideas. The Fairness Doctrine the second amendment and Eric Holder as Attorney General are the areas we need to keep a very close watch on period.
 
The conservative movement is and should always remain the protector of a civilized society. A society that seats a government that gets road blocks out of our businesses and promotes and encourages Churches to feed, house, nurse the poor and sick. When the government got a hold of our money they have put road blocks up for businesses, forced more people into poverty, and looks to condemn property instead of  providing shelter to the homeless. The government has allowed our hospitals, doctors and insurance companies be harrassed and blackmailed into a system that creates millions of unisured americans by lawyers.
 
The fight has been put in jeopardy since FDR became president. If you think he was such a great president just remember his speech to congress in 1941 that ...we should be free from want... That was the start of a slide down to the things we demand from our government. Cradle to grave needs fulfilled. It has been pushed by most politicians since FDR and now try to get elected telling your constituence to vote for me and I will see that you will pay for your own health care and childrens education and if you buy a house you have to pay the mortgage; put that up against the other guy telling them that he will provide all that for them. It is a challenge and we need to fight for it. We both know that it is the only way we are going to save our civilization. Let us start the fight now for 2012 when Sarah Palin can lead us the rest of the way.

Why liberals are a threat to intellect and morals

 

A) if you equate what a man and a woman do as two men doing only that then you are an idiot. If a couple engages in oral sex nobody cares, unfortunately that is not where it ends (no pun intended). If nothing else homosexuality is an aberrant lifestyle. It is both biblically and biologically aberrant. When two men or two women get together nothing can come of it. That is why men have sperm and women have ovaries. They are meant to procreate; that is the meaning of sex. I wouldn’t expect you to understand that. The fact that you are vulgar is just something I would expect from a liberal with no facts or intelligence.

B)  Remember Bosnia? Serbia did not attack us. Serbia was a sovereign nation with a civil war (sound familiar?). I think the civilians in Sarajevo would consider themselves innocent too. I hate to have to repeat what everybody knows except a liberal is: WMD’s ( I know not found yet but could rebuild later), mass graves by Saddam Hussein, firing on planes in the no-fly zone, and last but not least paying Palestinian families for the martyrdom of their children in Israel. For the last time HE WAS A THREAT TO EVERYONE.

C) The idea that anyone deserves a home is stupid. Extending credit to people who can afford them was a good idea regardless of color, however extending credit to people you know can’t afford them is criminal on your part. These people you profess to help are now financially devastated. They will not get credit for a car, school, or even get a better job. I think you should pat yourself on the back for that abundance of caring for the poor you have.  Low interest rates and unregulated industries are no excuse for this sub-prime NINJA lending (No income No job or assets). The only racists are people like you. You constantly hurt the same people you profess to care about, but never do the real work of getting them educated, employed, or financially stable to afford things and get real credit.

D) no mortgage company or private lender is immune from the CRA. It is a federal act not a state and local act. Again stupid, ignorant, or just not concerned about facts.

E) No one is blaming the poor. We are blaming scumbags like you who couldn’t care less about the poor and their long-term needs. You scream about education, but you never hold the teachers accountable for results just give money. One study about 15 years ago stated that schools in Washington, D.C. (that’s the nations capital) spent $10,000/student and still had a 70% dropout rate good going Mayor Berry (He was African-American). Without a real education system employment is hard to come by so that answers the question about income or the lack thereof. I think I answered the question of finances. Congratulations on a job well done. I think you should continue to hurt these people and when they get angry you can just blame us so you stay in power (a lot like Hitler did in the 30’s).
